American Massage Therapy Association – Michigan Chapter

The most recent Massage Board meeting in Lansing has produced some great results! They have approved the wording to require 500 hours of massage school training to be supervised by a person, and at least 40 hours of supervised clinic time as well.
They also approved the following tests as acceptable for licensure-EMBLex, NCETM, NCETMB, and NCBTMB.
There is still much work to be done before applications will be accepted, but this is great progress by a dedicated group of individuals.
