National Board Retreat – Notes and News from the President
‘Meet me in St. Louis’….where the National Board is having their board meeting, and Chapter Presidents from all 50 states have converged! That’s what happened June 3-5, and it was an experience I was excited to be a part of. I don’t know if any AMTA members have wondered about how our organization is run, or thought much past what happens at the chapter level, so being a part of the ‘big picture’ really helped me gain perspective, and I’d like to share that with you. An Important Note from Our President
To all AMTA-MI members, At our chapter meeting, some concerns were expressed that our chapter may not have followed all election procedures carefully. We want all members to know that our Chapter Board of Directors asked for a complete review of our election process by the National Office, National Bylaws chair and AMTA’s attorney. We are very pleased to report that everything was done according to policy.
